Purpose & Function
Hi, I’m Kgomotso, the founder, designer, and hands-behind-it-all at Everydaygreen (EDG for short). What began as a personal project making plant stands for my home quickly became a full-blown obsession of creating objects that make everyday life more beautiful, functional, and intentional. I started Everydaygreen out of frustration with having to choose between things that looked good and things that worked - especially the small stuff like where to hang your keys or how to display your Monstera. Today, EDG is a growing collection of cool home essentials designed in South Africa for the way we really live.

All of our products are made in small batches using powder-coated steel with wooden accents, and a whole lot of heart.
We partner with exceptional Joburg manufacturers who share our values around craftsmanship and durability and reducing waste. Our goal? Create fewer, better things that last... and look damn good doing it.

Every piece begins with a small frustration I’ve felt in my own home, something missing, clunky, or not quite right, and I design from that feeling.
